Food Preparation Intern
This position will require more time in preparation than it does with the animals themselves, primarily focusing on nutrition, diet formulation, and food preparation. They will mainly work with our Nutritionist to develop and prepare diets for animals.
About the Position:
Responsibilities included but not limited to:

Prep food for use in prepared animal diets

Maintaining a clear workspace

Adherence to food safety practices

Proficiency with kitchen utensils

Familiarity with food ingredients

Understanding recipes related to food preparation

Not afraid of snakes, rodents, spiders, etc

Experience with reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrate animals preferred.
